Who we are

TryWebScraping is run by Tekodot Ltd, a company registered in the United Kingdom. We are the controller of the personal data described here. Contact us about it at luke@tekodot.com.

What we collect

• Invite list: your email address and, if you fill in the second step, your first and last name, job title and company.
• Referrals: the referral code you joined through, if any, so we can move the person who invited you up the list.
• Campaign source: the utm_ parameters in the link you arrived from, so we know which posts and ads bring people in.
• Site analytics: Vercel Web Analytics counts page views without cookies and without storing anything on your device.

We do not use advertising or tracking cookies, so there is no cookie banner.

Why we use it

To run the invite list: decide who to let in first, email you when your invite is ready, and send you a few product updates while we build. The legal basis is your consent, given when you request an invite. You can withdraw it at any time by emailing us, and we will delete your entry.

Who processes it

• Vercel Inc. hosts the site and provides the cookieless analytics.
• Railway Corp. hosts the database that stores the invite list.

Both are based in the United States. Transfers rely on the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or the UK Extension to the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, as applicable. We never sell your data.

How long we keep it

For as long as the invite list runs, or until you ask us to remove you. When the list closes, entries that did not become accounts are deleted.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, or ask us to correct, delete or stop using it, by emailing luke@tekodot.com. If you are unhappy with how we handle it, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
